Cohesion projects
European cohesion policy is the European Union’s main investment policy for all regions and cities. It complements the EU policies in various areas and provides an investment framework and strategy for achieving long-term goals.
As a full EU member, Slovenia is entitled to the European Structural Funds and based on the EU methodology it is administratively divided into the Eastern and Western Cohesion Regions.
The Institute of the Republic of Slovenia for Vocational Education and Training (CPI) has been drawing EU funds mainly from the European Social Fund (ESF) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). By implementing cohesion policy projects, we ensure investment in measures that combine human resources, activation, mobility, research, development and innovation.
