Janez Damjan has been a director of the Institute of the Republic of Slovenia for Vocational Education and Training since 2019. He previously gained experiences in VET as a director of Higher Vocational School in Bled, teacher in secondary VET schools and as a researcher in CPI projects on entrepreneurial competencies. His working experiences include management positions in media and marketing companies, and he lectured marketing courses at University of Ljubljana and other institutions for over 20 years. In his present position he is focused on reaching the goals of the Response and resilience plan project »Modernisation of VET in Slovenia«.
